Glasser : Interiors

LA’s Cameron Mesirow returns on October 8 with her sophomore album as Glasser; titled Interiors (via True Panther Sounds), it follows the same blueprint as her 2010 debut Ring, mixing slightly oddball, beat-driven electro, stately chamber pop and ethereal Bjorkish ambience to quite stunning effect, whilst stepping up her game in a suitably “older and wiser” kinda way. Check out “Shape” below, stream the whole album via The Guardian, and read some nice words I wrote for The Quietus about her first record here.

About foamhands

My name is Michael Dix; I'm a decade or so past being down with the kids, but to me new music never gets old. Apparently I like music that sounds like faulty kitchen appliances and ritual slaughter; really I just like what I like, whether that happens to be indie, pop, punk, hip hop, metal, electronica, Afrobeat or jazz. Follow me on Twitter @FoamHandsBlog to receive notifications of new posts and the occasional random brain-fart, and please share links wherever you can. Enjoy!
