From Noisey:
“Legendary masked rapper DOOM and teenage rhymer Bishop Nehru don’t immediately strike you as an obvious hook up, but when you witness the rapid flow and abstract beats of their collaborative NehruvianDOOM project, you realise this is an unholy and forward-thinking rap alliance made in the best type of hell. On “Caskets” (below) DOOM lays straight into the first verse, establishing a teacher/student tone, and pulling off the kind of heat-seeking wordplays that can turn a diss out of ‘medulla oblongata’, before Bishop – who toured with Wu Tang last year – injects an old school East Coast rap flavour on the second. This is two worlds colliding in the slickest way.”
NehruvianDOOM is out now via Lex Records

About foamhands

My name is Michael Dix; I'm a decade or so past being down with the kids, but to me new music never gets old. Apparently I like music that sounds like faulty kitchen appliances and ritual slaughter; really I just like what I like, whether that happens to be indie, pop, punk, hip hop, metal, electronica, Afrobeat or jazz. Follow me on Twitter @FoamHandsBlog to receive notifications of new posts and the occasional random brain-fart, and please share links wherever you can. Enjoy!
